New DFG Project SynDiPET advances Protonic Ceramics for Hydrogen technology

DFG is funding new project coordinated by Prof. Dr. Bai-Xiang Xu
The research group “Synergistic Design of Proton-Conducting Ceramics for Energy Technology (SynDiPET)” aims to design and optimize the microstructures of electrolyte ceramics in a comprehensive analysis of defect chemistry, novel manufacturing processes, microstructure formation, and physical functionality, incorporating cross-scale simulations and machine learning (ML) methods, to design and optimize the microstructures of electrolyte ceramics.
